I am ares the god of war. I have been watching over Odysseus during his travels to the Lotus Eaters and every where else. The part where I come into play is when Odysseus has to fight the suitors. I help him attack the Suitors along side Athena, Odysseus and his son. He has made some outrageous calls over the years he was trying to get home but he also made some good calls. Some bad calls he made was when he was on Cyclops Island and he waited for the cyclops to get back and almost all his men died because the cyclops was angry at Odysseus for stabbing his eye. Another bad call he made was deciding to go pray to the gods for help and getting put to sleep. Some good calls he made was When he had everybody hide under the sheep"s bellies to get them out because the boulder was to big for them to move so they waited until morning for the boulder to be moved for the sheep to go and graze. Another good call he made was to wait and be disguised until the right time to attack the suitors. I helped him defeat more than 130 men during this time, but i wasn't the only god helping him, there was also Athena but I'm better because i am more enthused by being in battles and whooping butt. I think Odysseus is one of the people who should always be on of the mortals you would want to have on your side.
